Tamias
The so-called squirrel that inhabits all over Japan. For winter hibernation, from the end of summer to autumn, they search for food and fill their cheek pouches or bury them here and there.
Unlike the large Ezo squirrels found in Hokkaido, they hibernate in the winter. Small and very cute.
It's hard to think of going to shoot squirrels these days, but I think it's a great first subject for animal photography. At first, I only took pictures of squirrels.
